Quality Preschool Proves Pivotal for Local Family

Brenika Preston had a problem. Like many young mothers in Southern Dallas, she couldn’t find good childcare she could afford. Without it, she couldn’t work. And her kids weren’t getting prepared to enter school.

Then Preston discovered First Five, a program that provides high quality preschool to more than 3,000 children in Southern Dallas. Created in partnership with PepsiCo and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the program has greatly improved Preston’s life.
